UK Shopping Sites Guide
Each Comparison Shopping has its own way of working. From their category structure to their indexing and from their Trusted Store criteria to their costs, the key to success is providing information that is best suited to each one. This page and the Guides below are intended to tell you what you need to know when setting up your feeds.
Migrating Comparison Shopping Engine Account Data If you are moving an existing shopping account from another provider and need to establish a new account with any shopping site then it is important that you work with your account manager at each shopping site to have them move any of your existing data to the new account. This would include your cost/sales data, shipping information and your user ratings. User ratings are important to have ported to your new account because this will impact your search relevancy with most of the comparison shopping sites.
Integrating Cost Data into ShoppingAdvisor
There are currently only two (2) UK shopping sites that provide cost data back to ShoppingAdvisor: When you send your initial feed to these sites you should contact your account manager at these sites and ask that your account be added to the cost file for ChannelAdvisor.
