Best Practices for Setting Up MarketplaceAdvisor Premium to Sell on Trading Post

These guidelines will aid you in successfully using Trading Post as another sales channel.

Ad Templates

Inventory > Ad Templates

• Use a separate template for Trading Post and eBay. You can either make a new one or copy an existing eBay template and make changes.
  
• Remove all links to eBay pages and your Website. Trading Post does not allow any links to external sites from listing pages.
• Remove all text that reference eBay in any way.
• Remove any embedded video or sound files.
• Remove all contact details including email addresses and phone numbers.
• Do not use Java Script, including simple scripts used for things like image rollovers for buttons.
• Using a CSS for formatting is allowed, as long as it does not reference an external style sheet.

Feedback

MarketplaceAdvisor Premium can leave feedback for your buyers automatically using 

Settings > Feedback 

Make your messages generic, since the Feedback settings are for both eBay and Trading Post. 

E-mail Templates

MarketplaceAdvisor Premium can email your buyers automatically based on events such as invoice created, payment completed and item shipped.

Tools > Email Templates

Similar to Feedback, make the messages generic as these emails are used for both eBay and Trading Post.
