Step 1: Overstock - Creating inventory using the Bulk Inventory Spreadsheets

Topic
Activity
Adding the inventory, using the Bulk Inventory Sheets
  1. Use the Inventory Upload/Update Sheet to add additional SKUs or add OSTK specific data to your existing SKUs. If you need assistance on how to use the Bulk Inventory Upload/Update Sheet please review the Inventory Spreadsheet Tutorial.

  2. Overstock does have specific data requirements so we have prefilled those fields on the Inventory speadsheet, as attributes (1 - 23). In many cases, you can use existing attribute data or standard fields so please check with your Customer Launch Manager if you have any questions. Please select the appropriate sheet below and complete it as necessary.

YES

You will find information in the spreadsheets that describe the requirements for each cell. Just point your mouse over the cells with the red triangles.

For ease of reading, we have listed all of these same requirements on this web page.

Quantity Allocation Attributes

You can setup custom attributes to maintain the quantity and buffers levels for the inventory you send to Overstock. There are place holders in the update spreadsheet that can be used for uploading this data. For more information on how these works please refer to this web page.

PARENT / CHILD (Very Important!):

  1. When assigning the "Overstock" label to your items, it is ESSENTIAL to have this label on both the parent and children items. Not doing so will cause submission errors with Overstock.

  2. The current integration does not support adding additional children at a later time, please make sure that all children are setup during the initial submission to Overstock.
