How to unlock a Google AdWords account

If SearchAdvisor has a bad username or password we are unable to access a customer's Google AdWords account using the API. If enough attempts are made Google will lock out the account. As a result, even when the correct credentials are entered (as verified as being "correct" if they can be successfully entered directly in AdWords) in SearchAdvisor we are still unable to access the account and receive this error message in SearchAdvisor:

The following error was encountered:

"The specified account has been blocked due to excessive failed logins."

To unlock the account, go to this URL and enter the correct username and password.

Once that is done (give it a minute or so) enter the correct information again in SearchAdvisor. You should see this message:

"ProviderAccountName has been updated successfully."
