Step 7: Overstock - Viewing your Overstock Sales

When items are purchased from Overstock you will be able to access them from the All Sales View. From this view you will need to update the shipping information for each order.

Based on Overstock's requirements you must update the shipping information within 48 hours of when an order comes into the system. ChannelAdvisor will send a ship confirmation request for each order that has updated shipping information and that information will available to the buyer.

To update the shipping information for an Overstock Shopping order:

Open the All Sales View from the main menu by choosing Sales > All Sales
Open an existing Overstock transaction by clicking on the View Details option next to the OrderID
In the Shipping Information section enter:
o Tracking Number
o Shipping Carrier
o Date Shipped
This information will be passed back to Overstock.

FTP Integration for Shipment Status Files

Shipping Tracking Numbers can also be uploaded to our FTP site and the tracking information will be added each night. For deails on how to setup this up please see the FTP Inventory and Shipment Status Files page.

Shipping Confirmation Errors

If you enter in the wrong information for shipping then you will receive an error email from ChannelAdvisor stating that there was an issue with the ship confirmation. If this happens you will need to do the following:

Check your Account Shipping Carrier that you set on the order. The carrier must match what is listed here on the Overstock Shipping Carrier Page.
Make sure that the tracking number is in the correct format for that shipping carrier.
Make sure that the ship date is correct.

If any of these fields are incorrect then update the value and re-save the order. The system will attempt to re-send the ship confirmation to Overstock.
