I need to create a report of inventory balance at December 31, 2010 ( from January 1st 2010)
Needs to list total sales for the 2010 calendar year in a US$ amount.

Hi Michelle,
There is no report that stores your inventory balances for a given point in time.
Also, you can use the Payment Cleared reports (Reports -> Create Report -> Select a Report = Marketplaces and Stores -> Payment Cleared) to get all your sales for 2010, but it will be reported in the currency of the sale.
