I want to vary a product by Size and Colour, though the Musical Instrument Template only lets me choose 'Colour' as a variation theme.
I download the MusicalInstrument Flat File from Amazon and it suggests that Size AND Colour can be used.
Is this a discrepancy between CA's template and Amazons Flat File?

We will investigate and update if appropriate. We typically keep tabs on when these things change, and/or are alerted by Amazon, but I am not aware of this change so will need to confirm. Sometimes Amazon makes changes to the flat files you can download from Seller Central before they make the change available in the API - assuming all is in sync we will get that updated soon.

Will do - we have quickly looked and definitely need to call Amazon UK as their documentation has a conflict at the moment and we need clarification. If we need to make a change it will require a release.

With the ChannelAdvisor release this past Monday, we updated the Amazon Musical Instrument category template. In case you missed it, below is a paragraph from our release notes:

The updated category includes new product refinements as well as the ability to specify variations by product type.
