Need to Change Function of Quantity Update Type--Absolute

I need to synchronize my inventory between Stone Edge and CA, but I'm running into compatibility problems with quantity update type. There's a feature in Stone Edge called send QOH (quantity on hand) to website. That sends an update to ChannelAdvisor to replace my CA inventory numbers with my Stone Edge inventory numbers, but the problem is the update quantity type is "Absolute" and I can't change that. Absolute updates only the available quantity instead of total quantity and that will through everything off in my CA account. Is it possible to configure my account from the backend to treat an Absolute update type as Unshipped so that any time an update comes in with update type "Absolute," only the total number rather than available number gets updated?

Thanks

Ocean

No it's not possible.  How do they do this, do they export a spreadsheet or are they using the API?

We've fixed up Ocean for the time being. For anyone else who's experiencing a similar issue, this will be configurable in an upcoming release of Stone Edge Order Manager.

RE: Need to Change Function of Quantity Update Type--Absolute

We attempted unsuccessfully to change the update type within the ChannelAdvisor module in Stone Edge from Absolute to Unshipped because the update type was apparently case sensitive. With Mark's help, we changed Unshipped to UnShipped and everything works now.
