I know it would be different depenednig on what you sell but have many found that listing on Buy.com leads to that many more sales? I have been on Buy.com but over the time.... 1 sale for $8.00. Maybe its becasue I am new seller and some time and feedback will help. I sell toys so maybe Xmas is when Buy.com will shine. Thoughts?
We are selling in the Beauty Category and have been live on Buy.com for about 5 weeks.
So far we have about 10 sales... not very impressive.

I feel your pain, They say that it is one of the big 3 marketplaces. But the sales on that marketplace are less than impressive. We are even enabled to be on their japanese site. Even then we are only seeing about 10 orders a week.
Couldn't agree more. We sell hundreds of items every day on Amazon and only 1-2 a day on Buy.com. I've seen stats where Buy.com accounts for around 10% of marketplace sales, which I highly doubt from our limited experience (we've been live for about 5 months).
Could it be that Buy.com is very popular within specific product categories? We sell in Health & Personal Care.
Just like Amazon started with books, buy.com started with consumer electronics. It's very likely that performance depends on the category of products that are listed.
