Hi ChannelAdvisor revenue for our paid search efforts is always much highwe (like 70% larger) than Google Adwords Revenue. Does anytone know whatthe exact formula is for attribution that ChannelAdvisor uses? Can it be related to longer cookies? more attribution?

Thanks

RE: Sales/Revenue Attribution

Hi Mike,

It seems that any two different reporting tools will attribute revenue differently. ChannelAdvisor looks at revenue from ads clicked on in the prior 30 days and will consider that revenue as Paid Search revenue unless the buyer clicks on one of our other tracked channels before converting (Natural Search if you have our welcome pixel installed on all of your landing pages, or CSE if you use us for that too).

Google Analytics is more of a general purpose analytics tool and may consider additional sources of clicks and give order credit to some of those other sources.

Our Customer Support team could help investigate specific problems you are seeing.

Thanks,

Jason
