Adding a Search Engine Account in Paid Search

To track performance of your search campaigns, you need to add some basic information in ChannelAdvisor about your Search Engine accounts. 

  1. Navigate to Digital Marketing > Account Settings > Provider Accounts.
  2. Click + New Account.
  3. In the new dialog box select the Search Provider you are setting up.  
  4. Enter a name for this account that will allow you to differentiate between accounts (i.e. Google Main Account), master account number (Yahoo only), account id, login, password and account status. The options will vary slightly for each Search Provider and this information is available in the account interface on each respective search provider. 
  5. The Account Status field indicates if the account will be tracked by ChannelAdvisor. Changing this option does not have any impact on the status at the Search Engine.
  6. Optionally, check the box for Track all Campaigns to automatically track all campaigns with this account both existing and those created in the future. Checking this will give ChannelAdvisor permission to locate your campaigns and pull the data into ChannelAdvisor, and enable tracking of your keywords.
  7. Click Save.
