The Amazon Dashboard

The Amazon Seller Dashboard is a comprehensive feature that goes beyond the traditional integration of product data and gives sellers the freedom to shift their attention from e-commerce mechanics to e-commerce strategy. Its widget format allows you to customize your view by selecting the information and layout that suits your needs so that you can see the information that is most relevant to your business.

Additionally, you can toggle easily between the Amazon, FBA, Optimization and Competitive Environment dashboard from one page, saving you time and showing you a snapshot of Amazon performance in one location. To access the dashboard, in ChannelAdvisor go to Marketplaces > Amazon > Products > Overview.

 

Important Elements of the Dashboard


  • Toggle to switch dashboards – Use this toggle to switch quickly between different Amazon-specific dashboards.

  • Account Status – Your selling account can be in one of the following statuses:
    • Active: Your selling account is able to sell on Amazon and funds (payments) may be disbursed as per the normal schedule.
    • Under Review: Your selling account is able to sell on Amazon, but is currently under review by Amazon and funds are temporarily withheld until the review is completed.
    • Suspended: Your selling account is not able to sell on Amazon and funds are temporarily withheld.

Please note: If your account is Under Review or Suspended, you should visit your Seller Central Account's Performance > Performance Notifications for details and communication from Amazon.

  • Dashboard-wide date range – The date range you define here will be applied to all widgets that evaluate date related information.

 

Default Widgets


The dashboard includes a pre-defined set of widgets that can be rearranged by dragging them from one column to another. To add widgets to your dashboard, just select the Add Widget button on the upper right above the widgets grid.

 

Amazon Sales

This widget gives you an overview of how your Amazon sales are doing over time. Here you can get an idea of the trends of your sales over a specific period of time.

  • Choose to view sales history by day, week, or month
  • Apply a Comparison Date range to see changes between f/x the current month and the same month last year
  • View your GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) sales over time
  • View your number of Orders over time
  • View your AOV (Average Order Value) sales over time

 

Amazon Sales Snapshot

This widget shows the total GMV, AOV and number of Orders within the selected date range.

 

Amazon Product Status

The Amazon Product Status widget is an interactive chart that groups your various products on Amazon based on their current product state. When selecting any one of the colors of this bar you will be redirected to the Product Status page where you can view more details about these products.

Click on any one of the colored portions of the chart to see your products in that state. To view the number of products in each state simply hover your mouse over each color. The four product states are as follows:

Successfully Listed = The product has been published out to the marketplace without any problems.
Pending System Processing = The product is pending processing from the ChannelAdvisor systems, usually in response to recent updates made by the seller. There is no action required by you. Refer to the Communication Frequency table for information update timelines.
Listed with Update Error(s) = The product has been published out to the marketplace successfully, but with errors. These items may not be listed optimally on the marketplace and will require your attention to correct the error.
Unlisted with Error(s) = The product has not been published out to the marketplace and more information is required from you for this item before the ChannelAdvisor system can process it.

 

Top Selling Products on Amazon

In this widget, you can view your 20 top selling products – based on Sales, on Quantity Sold, or Total Quantity. The following information is displayed for each product:

  • Product Title
  • SKU (clicking the SKU will allow you to edit your SKU details)
  • Amazon Sales
  • Quantity Sold
  • Total Quantity

 

Amazon Account Health

This widget shows you, how you are faring in regards to the various customer metrics that Amazon measures including your Order Defect Rate, Cancellation Rate, Late Shipment Rate, and others. This data is taken directly from your Amazon Seller Central Account.

Please note: In order to view this information, make sure that you have supplied ChannelAdvisor with your Seller Central login credentials as requested in your Amazon Settings ( Marketplaces > Amazon > Settings ).

Amazon puts a lot of emphasis in maintaining good Account Health metrics to show that you are providing an excellent customer experience. Being aware of poor metrics enables you to take action and correct any issues you may have with your inventory, customer service or shipping processes before it can become an issue for your account status or rank on Amazon.

 

Amazon Insights

The Amazon Insights widget displays the most common insight options to help you maximize your revenue and profitability on Amazon. Select the insight count to view more details. The Amazon Insights page provides more information on each option of the widget.

 

Amazon Orders Needing to Ship

View the Amazon orders needing to ship that have been placed within the specified periods. Select the order count to view more details.

 

Amazon Feedback Rating

Use this widget to view a summary of your Amazon feedback rating and how this is trending in the short term versus long term. View 10 of your most recent negative and neutral feedback comments in the Recent Negative and Neutral Feedback section. Select the feedback comment text to view details about the order. Select the download button to export all negative or neutral feedback for orders placed within the past 30 days.

 

Amazon Buyer Claims

Buyer claims include A-to-z Guarantee claims and Buyer Chargebacks. Select View All or the number of claims to view these claims in Seller Central.
