Analyzing Google Shopping Performance

Within ChannelAdvisor you have the ability to view and analyze the performance of your Google Shopping Campaigns at the Product Group level. Analyzing this data will give you insight into how best to optimize your Google Shopping Campaign.

Tasks to Complete


In ChannelAdvisor, from  Digital Marketing > Marketing Management > Actionable Reporting , you will be able to manage your Product Groups by selecting the corresponding tab. Below are some of the actions you will be able to accomplish from this view:

Product Groups Performance Grid

Select the  Product Groups Performance  tab and use this page to view detailed information on your Google Shopping Campaign Product Groups. You can perform the following actions from this view:   

  • Edit Date Range:  To view data from a certain period in time select from a list of date ranges or enter your own custom date range.  
  • Editing CPC Bid Values:   
    • Edit CPC Bid for a single Product Group:
      1. Click on the individual Max CPC value that you wish to edit.
      2. Enter a new Max CPC bid amount. Alternatively, choose the "Exclude" option to exclude that product group from the Shopping campaign.
      3. Select  Save .   
    • Edit CPC Bid for multiple Product Groups:
      1. Select multiple product groups.
      2. Select the  Bid  button to open the Power Bidder view and make any of the following Bid adjustments:
      • Set all selected Product Groups to a specified dollar amount.
      • Increase the bid by a specified dollar amount or percentage and define an optional max bid limit.
      • Decrease the bid by a  specified dollar amount or percentage and  define an optional minimum bid limit.
      • Set all selected Product Groups to "Excluded."
  • Search, Sort and Filter Data  - For each column heading you will have the option to search. sort or filter using criteria you have specified in order to manage specific groups of your inventory.  
     
  • Customize Your View  - Select the  Settings  button to choose what data is included or not included in your view.
