Tasks to Complete

Follow the steps below to complete this task:

  1. Download the Bulk Ad Upload Spreadsheet, available on the page when submitting a file for import.
    • If you do not have the original information, you can export the existing account information by navigating to your Marketplaces > eBay > Product Mapping > Ads view and select the export all ads option. All columns available for import are included in the export and the column names match between the two processes.
  2. Editing existing ads
    • To edit an ad replace the existing values with the updated values.
    • If no value is submitted, then the existing information will be preserved and no change will be applied to that option.
    • If you would like to remove the existing value on the ad, use the special value of "_DELETE_" (without quotation marks). This will remove the configured value from the ad.
  3. To create a new ad enter a 0 for the Ad ID field and submit the appropriate ad information for the remaining fields.
  4. To upload your changes navigate to your Marketplaces > eBay > Product Mapping > Ads view and select the bulk upload ads option. Or upload your file via FTP. To do this please place the file in the Ads folder in the FTP directory.

    Please Note:
    1. The SKU must exist in advance because the inventory item is required.
    2. The file size limit for a Bulk Ad Upload file is 8MB when uploading through the user interface (Marketplaces > eBay > Product Mapping > Ads > Bulk Upload Ads). Files larger than 8MB can be uploaded via an FTP configuration.
