Communication Frequency - Paid Search

The backbone of ChannelAdvisor's functionality is our ability to regularly send and receive information on your behalf to a variety of channels. Outlined below are the frequencies and durations of various actions and processes in the system for Paid Search. Note that depending on the volume and complexity of data being processed, the amount of time it takes to process, communicate, and update data could vary significantly. If you notice that your account has been significantly deviating from the times outlined in this guide, please contact support, being sure to include the date and time details of the issue you're seeing in the support case. Including this information will allow us to investigate the issue more accurately.

Communication Activity

Activity Detail Communication Interval
Provider Sync Every 3, 5, or 7 days based on Provider page settings, or on demand.
Autotrack Occurs during syncs when necessary (i.e. not every sync will trigger autotrack event)
Data collection for reportingRevenue roll ups typically in early morning starting ~1am local time to client, cost rollup starts in morning and continues through day for search and shopping providers. NexTag is always reporting 2 days back rather than yesterday’s data for all other providers. Some clients with Revenue Feed don’t process until the afternoon.24 hours
Bid UpdatesABM (posting bids to provider) occurs every afternoon ET. Any bid changes made directly on the provider would come through and be updated in our system during a sync.24 hours
Revenue/OrdersThe conversions view and intraday graphs show orders and revenue continuously through the day with up to a 20 minute delay.continuous
