Using the Feeds View

The feeds view will serve as your primary location for managing all of the Shopping and Flex Feeds from your account.

Tasks to Complete


 

Any feeds that have been created can be managed from your Feeds view and will appear in list format. By navigating to Digital Marketing > Marketing Management > Feeds and selecting the Feeds tab, you will be able to perform the following actions:  

Customizing the Feeds View

Below are some of the actions you can take to customize your feeds view:

  • Sort Columns - You can sort any column in ascending or descending order by simply clicking on the individual column header
  • Adjust Column Width - To adjust the width of any column place your cursor between two column heading and adjust the width accordingly
  • Search - To locate a specific feed you can perform a keyword search by Feed Name, Template Name or Site Name
  • Filter- Filter your view by the following status types
    • Active
    • Inactive
    • Failed

 

Creating New Feeds

Editing Existing Feeds

Anytime you need to make any changes to your feed settings you will do so from the Feeds view. Follow the steps below to edit your feed settings:

  1. Select the Feed Name. (This will enter you back into the Feeds Guide)
  2. Adjust the settings in any one of the sections of the guide
  3. Select 'Save' or 'Save and Exit' as you are making your changes

 

 

Activating and Deactivating Feeds

If you have completed all of the necessary feed configurations you will have the option to activate your feed. A feed can be activated or deactivated in three ways.

Additional Feeds View Actions

Below are some additional actions that can be taken while you are managing your feeds from this view:

  • Manually submit a feed - Select the feed/s that you wish to manually submit and then select the 'Submit' button
  • Preview - To create a preview file in excel format:
    • Select the feed/s 
    • Select the  'Preview' button
    • Enter your email address
    • Select the 'E-mail Preview' button
  • Copy - To create a copy of any feed  select the feed/s and select the 'Copy' button
  • Delete -  To Delete any feed  select the feed/s and select the 'Delete' button
