Sometimes you will find it necessary to remove products from your feed that aren't performing well. There are multiple ways of performing this action.

Choose any of the options below to complete this task

Removing Products via the Product Bids View

• Navigate to your Feeds > Performance > Product Bids view.
• The Bid To $0 CPC  option will change the bid associated with a product in a feed to $0.  This instructs the provider that you do not want to pay for traffic for the designated item(s) at this time. 
• The Reset Bid option will change a $0 bid to the agreed upon rate that you have established with a provider.  The agreed upon rate is the category minimum rate or negotiated rate that you have agreed to with a provider.

Removing Products via the Power Bidder

The Power Bidder is accessed by selecting the Power Bid link at the bottom of the Feeds > Performance > Products Bids view.  The Power Bidder allows you to manually adjust bids with Comparison Shopping Providers. You can use the Power Bidder to bid a product to $0, which will remove it from a feed.

Using a Business Rule Filter

Business Rule Filters allow you to remove or  filter  items from a feed that meet a certain criteria.  They are a powerful way to customize which products are sent to each marketplace or shopping provider since performance for your products will vary widely between the marketplaces and engines.  While you can always remove individual products once they do not perform well, it is also a good idea to customize your feeds via filters.

Blocking Categories from a Feed 

Blocking Categories will allow you to filter out a set of items that all fall in a given source category.  For merchants using an external data feed, source categories are defined as the category values in that feed.  For merchants using ChannelAdvisor Stores inventory, source categories are your store categories.
