Getting Started


Since Instagram is owned by Facebook the program is set up and managed the same way that Facebook Dynamic Ads are. Both programs use the same feed and pixel. Simply follow the steps to get started with Facebook Dynamic Ads . Make sure that your Instagram Ad Account is linked to your Facebook Business Manager and that ChannelAdvisor is assigned as a partner. Enter the ChannelAdvisor Business ID 10152652993876658 to assign us as a partner.

To advertise on Instagram, select Instagram as a Placement when you are creating an Ad Set for Facebook. You can unselect Desktop Newsfeed and Mobile Newsfeed if you don’t want the ad to appear on Facebook.

 

Fee Model


The Instagram Dynamic Ads program can be configured as a CPC (cost per click) program or CPM (cost per thousand impressions) program. Contact Instagram for details on rates.

 

Reporting and Performance Data


Performance data for the Instagram Dynamic Ads program is captured for reporting in the ChannelAdvisor Digital Marketing interface at the provider level in Actionable Reporting ( Digital Marketing > Marketing Management > Actionable Reporting > Providers ). Performance data at lower levels can be found under Social Management ( Digital Marketing > Marketing Management > Social Management ).
