Getting Started with OneStopPlus

Getting Started with One Stop Plus is as easy as completing these simple steps. You will want to reference each step in this guide while you are going through your Launch Process. 

 

 

 

Launch Options


When setting up One Stop Plus with ChannelAdvisor you have three launch options:

  1. Self-Guided Launch - Completed by yourself using the information found on the tabs on this Setup Guide.
     
  2. Launch Assistance Service - A paid service offered by the ChannelAdvisor Launch Team that allows for you to have a dedicated email box for setup questions and a limited number of phone-based training and assistance calls to help you get setup on  One Stop Plus  quicker and easier.  To purchase this service contact Sales for more information.
     
  3. Launch Plus Service - A paid service offered by the ChannelAdvisor Launch Team that includes a dedicated email box for setup questions and a limited number of phone-based training, but also includes additional setup elements and assistance: the setup of your  One Stop Plus  template, the assisted upload of products and help launching products to  One Stop Plus.  To purchase this service contact  Sales for more information.

 

Complete Prerequisites


Before beginning the launch process with any of the launch service options, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Email  partners@onestopplus.com  to apply for partnership.
  2. Obtain your OneStopPlus.com Partner Vendor Number from OneStopPlus.
  3. Review the OneStopPlus.com Classification mapping spreadsheet, located here or obtained from OneStopPlus.com.

 

Configure Inventory 


Before listing your products on the OneStopPlus marketplace, it is important to be aware of OneStopPlus.com's listing requirements.  OneStopPlus.com should provide you with this information upon acceptance into the Partner program.

 

 

 

SKU Requirements

OneStopPlus.com requires a SKU that is less than 25 characters.  Ensure that any products you wish to list on OneStopPlus.com do not exceed this requirement.

Determine Your OneStopPlus.com Categories

OneStopPlus.com requires that you categorize each item you wish to list on the marketplace in one of their "Clothing Types" (aka Departments).  Examples of Clothing Types include (but are not limited to): Accessories, Activewear, Beauty, Bra, Capri,  Cardigan, and Loungewear).  The entire list of values can be found in the Classification Mapping spreadsheet referenced earlier.  After specifying a Clothing Type, additional product information called "Styles" can be provided to OneStopPlus to make your products easier to find on their site.  Examples of Styles include: Gender, Size, Style, etc.  The styles that apply to each Clothing Type can be found on the Classification Mapping Spreadsheet as well as on the OneStopPlus.com Product Mapping Tempalte in ChannelAdvisor.

If this kind of information does not already exist in your inventory, you may need to add a new attribute to your inventory and populate that attribute with the values that OneStopPlus.com accepts.  To learn more about adding attributes, please refer to the  Using Inventory Attributes  page.

If you already have a similar data point in your inventory but your values do not match the OneStopPlus values, you can utilize a business rule or a lookup list to transform your value to match a OneStopPlus.com Clothing Type.

Product Variations

All listings on OneStopPlus.com vary by color and size.  If color is not applicable to your item, provide the text "AsShown."  If size is not applicable to your item, provide the text "OneSize."  For more details, refer to the Listing Your Products section of the OneStopPlus Getting Started Guide.

 

 

Configure Marketplace Settings


 

The OneStopPlus.com setup guide will walk you through the initial setup process within the ChannelAdvisor application and will set the foundation for your account integration with Shop.com. Begin by navigating to your   Marketplaces > OneStopPlus.com > Settings   view and completing the steps of the guide.


 

  1. Account Information
    • Enter your Partner Vendor Number provided by OneStopPlus.com.
  2. Product Inventory
    1. Inventory Label - Select the label you wish to use to designate products for the OneStopPlus.com marketplace.
    2. Quantity to Send - choose between assigning all available inventory quantity to OneStopPlus.com, or all available and open quantity (if using  Inventory Juggler)
  3. Buffer Quantity Amount
    • Determine if you would like to set a buffer quantity for OneStopPlus.com, and specify it here.
  4. Status
    1. Complete the Product Mapping Template
    2. Toggle the "  Enable Downloading Orders, Sending Shipping Notifications, and Process Refunds/Cancellations  " switch to  On  to begin downloading OneStopPlus.com orders into ChannelAdvisor.
    3. Toggle the "  Create and Manage Product Listings  " switch to  On  to enable sending product information to OneStopPlus.com.

 

List Your Products


 

Once you have completed the Setup Guide you will need to complete the OneStopPlus.com Product Mapping Template in ChannelAdvisor, located under  Marketplaces > OneStopPlus.com > Product Mapping > Templates . ChannelAdvisor Product Mapping Templates are used to define the exact data that will be sent to the marketplace when creating or updating a listing.  The template will contain all the fields accepted by the Marketplace and will allow you to specify what product information should be sent for each product listing.    


 

Mapping the Template

The Product Mapping Template translates your product data according to your specifications to meet the restrictions and guidelines of OneStopPlus.com.  You will have four options to complete each template field. The option that works best for you will depend on how you have prepared your inventory for each sites data requirements. For detailed information on how to utilize templates in ChannelAdvisor please visit the   Customizing Template Fields page of the Strategy and Support Center.

OneStopPlus.com Template Strategies

Be sure to complete all required template fields indicated by a red star. Below is a list of these fields along with additional information to keep in mind when mapping the template:

    1. Color  - provide any color name for the item or if color is not applicable to a product, provide the text "AsShown".  Do not exceed 25 characters.
    2. Size  - provide your size for the item or if size is not applicable to a product , provide the text "One Size".  Do not exceed 11 characters.
    3. Department  - provide the "Clothing Type" from the OneStopPlus.com classification mapping spreadsheet (e.g. Accessories, Activewear, Beauty, Bra, etc.)
    4. Product Title Short  - note that this value will not be visible to the shopper, but may be used in communications from OneStopPlus.com to you.
    5. Category Specific Template Fields -   the Product Mapping Template contains some fields that only apply to specific Clothing Types.  Note that some Clothing Types will be grouped into a larger category (e.g. Apparel) on the template.  For each field, values accepted by OneStopPlus.com are included in the help text (hover over the blue question mark).  The same fields and values can be found in the OneStopPlus.com  Classifcation Mapping Spreadsheet

 

 

Activate your Integration


 

Assign the OneStopPlus label


In order to send inventory to the OneStopPlus Marketplace, you tell the system to pull all inventory that has a label associated with it. This gives you a flexible way to tag the inventory you want to appear on the marketplace without having to assign classifications or any other grouping mechanism. The label assigned must be the same as the label configured in your OneStopPlus.com Settings. This action notifies ChannelAdvisor which products will be sent to OneStopPlus.com.

Turn on Product Listings

 In order to enable ChannelAdvisor's integration with OneStopPlus.com, you must activate it by following these steps:

  1. In  Marketplaces > OnestopPlus.com > Settings  , toggle "Download orders, send shipping notifications, and process refunds/cancellations" to  On  .  This will start downloading your OneStopPlus.com orders into ChannelAdvisor.
  2. In  Marketplaces > OnestopPlus.com > Settings  , toggle "Create and Manage Product Listings" to  On  .  This will start sending your product information to OneStopPlus.com

Communication Frequency

Now that your OneStopPlus.com integration has been activated, ChannelAdvisor and OneStopPlus.com should be able to communicate.  Depending on the number of SKUs and the compledxity of your inventory information, the amount of time it takes to process, communicate, and update on the marketplace could vary.   Refer to the Marketplaces - Processing and Communication Frequency page for more information on this subject.

 

 

 

Manage Your Listings


Once you have activated your OneStopPlus.com integration, you should begin seeing activity almost immediately. You may notice that some of your products have not listed properly or have not listed at all. It will be crucial that you consistently manage your OneStopPlus.com account to monitor these issues.

OneStopPlus.com Product Dashboard

ChannelAdvisor provides you with a dashboard that assists you with this effort. The OneStopPlus.com Product Overview page is a marketplace-specific dashboard that provides you with an overview of the current status of all your products assigned to OneStopPlus.com. You can access this page via the menu from Marketplaces > OneStopPlus.com > Products > Overview.

 

Product Status View

The Product Status view will serve as your OneStopPlus.com listing management headquarters. From this view you will be able to view detailed information about all of the products you are sending to OneStopPlus.com  You will be able to monitor the performance of your items as well as troubleshoot any listing errors you may have received. Navigate to your   Marketplaces > OneStopPlus.com > Products > Product Status   view. 

 

Resolving OneStopPlus.com Errors

There are a wide range of listing errors that you may receive when listing to OneStopPlus.com  Resolving these errors can typically be accomplished by utilizing one fo these two methods.

  • Method 1: Edit Your Template Mappings -   The OneStopPlus.com Template is what tells ChannelAdvisor what data to send. Failure to map the appropriate fields with the appropriate values from your inventory can result in listing errors. When you receive a listing error it is almost always a good idea to check your template. 
  • Method 2: Edit Your Inventory Data  - If you find the template appears to be mapped correctly and in according to OneStopPlus.com s specifications, more then likely the source of the error is in your inventory data.

 

Fulfilling/Cancelling Orders


Sales are handled through the integrated shopping cart of each Marketplace. Order information details are then imported to ChannelAdvisor in the All Sales view where you can then manage your fulfillment process,  update shipping and tracking information and  process any refunds or cancellations.


 

Importing Orders

From your All Sales view you can easily manage the fulfillment process for all orders imported from the marketplace. Weather you use ChannelAdvisor or a third party fulfillment system to manage your orders, ChannelAdvisor offers the tools to optimize your fulfillment strategy.

  1. After a purchase has been completed, the ChannelAdvisor Complete software will automatically import all the relevant order details needed for fulfillment. See the  Processing and Communication Frequency  page for details on on how long after a purchase orders are imported 
     
  2. Once imported, your orders will appear in the   Sales   >   Orders/Transactions   >   All Sales   view alongside all of your other orders.

Update Shipping and Tracking

After fulfillment is complete, your next step is to update the ChannelAdvisor Complete software with shipping and tracking information. This step is highly important since you will not be paid for your sales until this information is received.by the Marketplace. Once your tracking numbers are provided and your order status is updated to shipped ChannelAdvisor will send this information to the Marketplace. There are three  primary methods to complete this process.

Cancelling and Refunding Orders

A refund is only necessary if you have already marked the order as shipped. If you have not marked the order as shipped,  canceling an order within our system, will cancel the order on the Marketplace. If the buyer contacts you after their purchase looking for a refund, you may process their request by going to the   Sales > Orders/Transactions > All Sales   view.
