Accessing ChannelAdvisor

In order to access the ChannelAdvisor application you must login using your username and password credentials. Once you have successfully logged in you will be able to access all of the tools necessary to manage your inventory and sell across multiple channels.

 

Tasks to Complete


 

First Time Login 

To login to ChannelAdvisor, you must have a username and password. When your account is created an Administrative User ID will be created. Those credentials will be given to you during your first implementation training session with our ChannelAdvisor Services Team.

  1. Go to https://login.ChannelAdvisor.com/
  2. Enter your Username and Password
  3. Click Login
  4. You will now see the successful login page with links to ChannelAdvisor Complete, the Strategy & Support Center (SSC) and change password.
On your first login to ChannelAdvisor, it is STRONGLY recommended that you change your current password to a password that is more unique and memorable.
 

Password Rules

ChannelAdvisor passwords must adhere to the following rules:

  • Passwords are case-sensitive.
  • Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length.
  • Passwords must contain at least one non-alphabetic character.
  • Three (3) unsuccessful login attempts will result in the password being invalidated and will result in a temporary lock-out.
  • Clicking the "Forgot Password" link on the main login screen, will permit you to reset your password and gain immediate access.
 

Failure to Login 

If you attempt to login to your ChannelAdvisor account with incorrect credentials, your account will be temporarily locked out after three (3) failed attempts. In order to reset your account login information, you must follow these steps:

  1. From the login page , click the link below the password field "Forgot Your Password?"
  2. Enter the e-mail address you use to login to your ChannelAdvisor account and fill in the security codes. You will receive an e-mail instructing you how to reset your password.
  3. Click on the link, or copy and paste the entire link from the e-mail into a browser.
  4. Enter and verify a new password that conforms to the password rules .
  5. Click the "Change Password" button.
 

Change Your Password

For your protection ChannelAdvisor recommends that you change your account password every 90 days to maintain security for your account. Using the same or similar passwords for an extended period of time allows others to more easily guess your account password and login to your account.

  1. From the login page , login in to your account.
  2. On the "login successful" page, click the "change password" link.
  3. Enter your previous password, new password that conforms to the password rules and verify your new password.
  4. Click the "Change Password" button.

If you have forgotten your password, use the link below the login password box to reset your password information.

  1. From the login page , click the link below the password field "Forgot Your Password?"
  2. Enter the e-mail address you use to login to your ChannelAdvisor account and fill in the security codes. You will receive an e-mail instructing you how to reset your password.
  3. Click on the link, or copy and paste the entire link from the e-mail into a browser.
