In addition, you can create a new label or make adjustments to the selected label from this screen (s. screenshot below Quantity paragraph).

Please refer to the labels page of the SSC for detailed information about this topic.

Quantity

There are a series of quantity settings available that will allow you to determine how much of your inventory to send to that marketplace.

Send Quantity

The amount of quantity that is send to a channel can be controlled in one of three ways:

  • Send all available quantity – This setting will send all your available quantity for each item to the channel.

  • Set a maximum quantity – This setting will send up to the specified amount of quantity to these marketplaces, depending on what is available. This upper limit will be set for all your items being sent to the channel. If you have fewer quantity available than the amount specified the quantity sent for that product will only be the quantity available.
    • For example, maintain a level of 10 but only 9 are available for that item – 9 will be sent to the channel.

  • Specify maximum quantity using a custom attribute at the item level – This setting will pull the quantity to maintain for a product from an inventory attribute. This upper limit is set for each item being sent to the channel individually. If you have fewer quantity available than the amount specified the quantity sent for that product will only be the quantity available.
This setting is helpful for differentiating high-volume inventory from low-volume inventory.
    • For example, inventory attribute of 10 but only 9 are available for that item - 9 will be sent to the channel.
    • You will need to setup a custom attribute for each item to use this setting. The update spreadsheet has attribute fields that you can use to create an attribute – an example attribute name may be RAKUTENQTY for Rakuten.com Shopping.

Set Buffer Quantity

You can also define a Buffer to keep a minimum quantity of your product in inventory. This setting can be controlled in one of three ways:

  1. Do not set a buffer level – If this setting is used then no buffer will be created within the system when your quantity is sent.
  2. Set an exact buffer level – If this setting is used then the same buffer level will be used for all your items on the channel.
  3. Specify a buffer level using a custom attribute at the item level – This setting will pull the buffer level from each item. You will need to setup a custom attribute for each item to use this setting. The update spreadsheet has a custom attribute call BUFFERQTY that can be used.
