If these requirements are not an issue for you, getting started on Allyouneed.com is as easy as completing these simple steps. You will want to reference each step in this guide while you are going through your Allyouneed.com Launch Process.

Launch Options

When setting up Allyouneed.com with ChannelAdvisor you will get dedicated help from our Launch team with our Launch Assistance Service – a paid service offered by ChannelAdvisor that allows for you to stay in contact via email with and get a limited number of telephone trainings from a dedicated ChannelAdvisor Implementation Specialist to help you get setup on Allyouneed.com quicker and easier. Prerequisites

Before beginning the launch process with any of the launch service options, you will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Create your Allyouneed.com seller account – Fill out the registration form (in German only) from Allyouneed.com.
  2. Obtain your Shop Name, User Name and Password – You'll need this data when completing the Allyouneed.com settings.

Configure Inventory

Before listing your products on the Allyouneed.com marketplace, it is important to be aware of Allyouneed.com's listing requirements.

EAN

Allyouneed.com organizes the products similar to Amazon in their own catalogue. To ensure that your products are matched with the correct items in Allyouneed.coms catalogue you need to submit an EAN for each product. If your item doesn't match an existing EAN it will be added to the Allyouneed.com catalogue. This is similar to how Amazon deals with non-catalgue products.

Marketplace Category ID

You need to supply that ID to list your items successfully. You can download an up to date version of the category ID list from the Allyouneed.com Seller portal > menu Kategorisierung (in German only). Please make sure that you always choose the leaf category and enter an ID, not the category name. And note, that you cannot list an item in more than one category.

It can happen that another seller already defined a categorization for your item as he listed the item prior to you. In this case your category ID will be ignored. If you have objections regarding the category please contact Allyouneed.com support.

If this kind of information does not already exist in your inventory, you may need to add a new attribute to your inventory and populate that attribute with the values that Allyouneed.com accepts. To learn more about adding attributes, please refer to the Using Inventory Attributes page.

If you already have a similar data point in your inventory but your values do not match the Allyouneed.com values, you can utilize a business rule or a lookup list to transform your value to match a Allyouneed.com value.

Please refer to the SSC page on Business Rules and Lookup Lists to learn more about utilizing these tools to manipulate your data.

Product Variations

Allyouneed.com supports variations. To list items as Variations you need to identify the correct Variation Configuration (Varianten-Konfiguration), that Allyouneed.com defined for different product ranges. In most cases Attributes and Attribute Values are also pre-defined. In some cases sellers can set them individually. F/x values for attribute "Farbe" (colour) can be individually entered.

The parent item is called Variation Group (Varianten-Gruppe) on Allyouneed.com, but won't appear in search results. Only child items are populated in search results.

You need to provide a product description, attributes such as color, size and other specific information like pricing for each child item. Allyouneed.com also requires at least 1 picture per variation.

Please refer the the most up to date Allyouneed.com documentation on Variations (in German only) for details.

Images

You can submit images for your products. But this is tied to submitting your own item description too. If you don't supply individual pictures Allyouneed.com will use their standard image for the product. Allowed formats are jpg, gif or png. You can send up to 8 images and can add new ones or delete old ones anytime.

Other Inventory Considerations

  • Item prices are a key factor when competing with other sellers. Allyouneed.com ranks products by relevance and lowest price.
  • You need to provide your own, unique product number when creating items on Allyouneed.com. As we are automatically sending your product SKUs in the backend you don't need to map this in the template.
  • SKU and EAN cannot be changed after submittal.
  • Allyouneed.com allows only very simple HTML tags ( <b>,<br />, <p>, <ul>, <ol>, <li> and <hr />)
  • Title is limited to 100 characters.
  • Short description is limited to 400 characters, long description is limited to 4.000 characters.

The template will contain all the fields accepted by the marketplace and will allow you to specify what product information should be sent for each product listing. You will have four options to complete each template field. The option that works best for you will depend on how you have prepared your inventory for each site's data requirements.

For detailed information on how to utilize templates in ChannelAdvisor please visit the Customizing Template Fields page of the Strategy and Support Center.

Allyouneed.com Template Strategies

  9. Tax Group – Choose from 3 predefined values: Standard (19%), Reduced (7%) or Free (no VAT).
  10. Variationtype – If you want to list Variations this is a required field. You enter the Variation Configuration here.

Additional information – also on the other fields – is displayed when you hover your mouse over the question tag icon next to each field in the template.

It will be crucial that you consistently manage your Allyouneed.com account integration in ChannelAdvisor to monitor these issues.

Allyouneed.com Product Dashboard

ChannelAdvisor provides you with a dashboard that assists you with this effort. Navigate to your Marketplaces > Allyouneed > Products > Product Status view.

Resolving Allyouneed.com Errors

There is a wide range of listing errors that you may receive when listing to Allyouneed.com. Resolving these errors can typically be accomplished by utilizing one of these two methods.

  • Method 1: Edit Your Template Mappings – The Allyouneed.com Template is what tells ChannelAdvisor what data to send. Failure to map the appropriate fields with the appropriate values from your inventory can result in listing errors. When you receive a listing error it is almost always a good idea to check your template.
  • Method 2: Edit Your Inventory Data – If you find the template appears to be mapped correctly and in accordance with Allyouneed.com's specifications, more than likely the source of the error is in your inventory data.
