When items are purchased from Buy.com you will be able to access them from the
Inventory > All Sales view. From this view you will need to update the shipping information for each order.
Based on Buy.com's requirements,
you must update the shipping information within 48 hours (BUT no later than 4 days) of when an order comes into the system. ChannelAdvisor will send a ship confirmation request for each order that has updated shipping information and that information will available to the buyer.
Downloading Orders
Purchases of your products (including payment collection) are handled directly through the integrated shopping cart directly on the Buy.com site. After a purchase has been completed, the ChannelAdvisor Complete software will automatically import all the relevant order details needed for fulfillment
within 1 hour of the purchase. Once imported, your orders for the Buy.com marketplace will appear in the
Sales >
Orders/Transactions >
All Sales view alongside all of your other orders for all of your other marketplaces.

Fulfilling Your Orders
After your orders have been imported, you are ready to fulfill them. For more information on how to download your orders, refer to the
Downloading Orders HowTo guide. Additionally, you may choose to
Print Invoices.
After fulfillment is complete, your next step is to update the ChannelAdvisor Complete software with shipping and tracking information. There are 2 primary methods to doing this:
- Modify the order directly
- Bulk upload shipping information.
Once updated, the ChannelAdvisor system will update Buy.com with the revised order information
within the next hour.
caution: Do not modify the order details directly on the marketplace site! By passing the ChannelAdvisor software will lead to data mismatches between the 2 systems, and a possible overwrite of the order information on the marketplace site. Always use the ChannelAdvisor order system as the system of record for your updates!
Cancelling Orders
If a buyer wants to cancel an order, you may accomplish this by selecting the order and clicking the “Cancel Sale” button in Sales > Orders/Transactions > All Sales view. Since Buy.com only charges the buyer after the order is marked as shipped, the above action will only refund the buyer when the order is cancelled after being marked as shipped.
Order cancellations will be updated on buy.com within the next hour.
