Common Cdiscount Errors

When listing to Cdiscount it is possible that you encounter listing errors. The table below outlines the common ones and provides a solution to fix the error and ensure the affected product is listed successfully on the marketplace.

 

Prerequisites


You should be familiar with the following task before continuing

 

Error Message Suggested Resolution
Field X is required

Where you see an error or message which begins with “Field ...” this is a message from ChannelAdvisor. It means that either you have not mapped a required field on the template (denoted by the red asterisk) or that the lookup list / business rule used yielded no results.

You should check the mapping on your template to ensure that 1) it is mapped and 2) that the field it is mapped to contains data for all your SKUs or that that business rule / lookup list being used does not have a resulting blank output.

Error from Cdiscount: "Seller product reference : Your seller reference is already associated. It is therefore impossible to create this product with this reference. Please modify your seller reference"

This means that the EAN or UPC already exists in the Cdiscount database for your seller ID but with a different SKU (or vice versa). The message is telling you that you need to submit a spreadsheet with the correct EAN/SKU or UPC/SKU so that Cdiscount can update what is needed to be done.

Raise a support ticket with ChannelAdvisor Support team, providing a spreadsheet noting the correct SKU and EAN or UPC combination for all affected SKUs.

Our team will contact Cdiscount on your behalf and will inform you once we receive confirmation that Cdiscount has updated the data.
