eBay is The World's Online Marketplace®, enabling trade on a local, national and international basis. It offers an online platform where millions of items are traded each day. With a presence in 39 markets, including the U.S., and approximately 84 million active users worldwide, eBay has changed the face of internet commerce. In 2010, the total value of sold items on eBay's trading platforms was nearly $53 billion (vehicles excluded). This means that eBay users worldwide transact nearly $1,700 worth of goods on the site every second.
