The FBA Dashboard provides a high-level view of the most important aspects of your FBA business with options to dig deeper into the details. The dashboard makes it easy to view the performance of your FBA products, understand where your inventory is located within Amazon, and get insights into the next steps you should take with your FBA listings.

FBA Dashboard Widgets

You can access the FBA Dashboard by navigating to Marketplaces > Amazon > FBA > FBA Dashboard. Once you are on the dashboard, you will have access to five widgets targeted specifically to your FBA inventory. These widgets are updated daily. You will need to authenticate ChannelAdvisor for your Amazon account and set up the FBA distribution center to allow us to start collecting information on your FBA products.

FBA Inventory Status

FBA Inventory Status Widget

This widget is designed to help you keep track of where your FBA products are located in the FBA supply chain. We track product quantity from inbound shipment creation through the receiving process at the warehouse, to fulfillable on a shelf. This allows you to see where individual products are according to Amazon and to be able to drill down into unfillable items and see what percentage of your FBA inventory is not purchasable. The widget gives you the total number of products in each status, as well as the total quantity, combining information to give you a comprehensive picture of your Amazon FBA inventory.

Clicking on the pie piece for each status will take you to the FBA Inventory Management grid to allow you to see exactly which SKUs and what quantity belong in each status. To minimize a section of the pie chart so that you can focus on a smaller section, just click on the name of the piece that you would like to minimize in the legend and it will hide that section of the chart.

Products in FBA

Products in FBA Widget

Products in FBA shows the trend over time of the number of products that you have in FBA, both the total number of SKUs and total quantities, as well as the overall sale value of those items. The Sale Value is calculated by multiplying the product's FBA quantity and price of the product as it is listed on Amazon. With the 30-day trend, you can easily see how much product you have across all of Amazons FBA facilities at any given time.

FBA Inventory Issues

FBA Inventory Issues Widget

This widget combines data from multiple sources in Seller Central and calls out any FBA items that have inventory issues that could require seller intervention.

  • Excess Inventory is the count of items that have greater than the configured desired days of coverage in Seller Central. Unless you are taking into account seasonality, you should strive for as little excess inventory in FBA as possible. Excess items run the risk of turning into aged inventory. Currently, excess inventory counts are only available for the US.
  • Aged Inventory are products that have been in an FBA facility for longer than 6 months and are at risk for incurring a long term storage fee if not sold before the next cleanup date (either February 15th or August 15th). Clicking on Manage Inventory from this inventory issue takes you directly to the Marketplaces > Amazon > Optimization > Insights grid to resolve any aged inventory items.
  • Stranded Inventory are items that are in an FBA fulfillment center without an active offer on Amazon. For steps on how to resolve the inactive offer and begin selling your item again, click on Manage Inventory. This will take you to the Marketplaces > Amazon > Optimization > Insights page for a filtered view of these items with information on how to resolve the stranded inventory.
