FBA Inventory Management

As part of our support for Fulfillment by Amazon, you get detailed product information from the FBA Inventory Management grid designed specifically to allow you to make more informed decisions on current FBA products and which products you should source for FBA. Additionally, you can export this information and use the data in evaluation that is most appropriate to your business.

 

FBA Inventory Management Grid


You can access this grid by navigating to Marketplaces > Amazon > FBA > FBA Inventory Management.

 

FBA Products

The FBA Products view in the FBA Inventory Management grid combines information from several sources to give you more insight on individual FBA items. You can view detailed quantity information on your products and listing competition data to assess detailed performance and competitive landscape on your products. After deciding which products you would like to restock for FBA, you can add these items to an Inbound Shipping Plan and start the process directly from ChannelAdvisor.

The FBA quantity information in this grid is updated every 4 hours. If your account is not currently configured for FBA, the FBA Products tab will be blank.

Suggested FBA Inbound Quantity

Our suggested FBA inbound quantity helps you know how much to inbound to Amazon's warehouses based on inventory demand for your FBA items. This calculation takes into account your historic sales, year over year growth, and recent performance trends on the item to project what quantity you should inbound to FBA facilities to maintain a desired weeks of cover.

To view the suggested inbound quantity for your FBA products, navigate to the Marketplaces > Amazon > FBA > FBA Inventory Management view. Make sure that you have added the column Suggested Inbound Quantity to your view. From here, you are able to filter to view the quantity that you should inbound to FBA facilities.

This suggested inbound quantity that is recommended takes into account current fulfillable FBA quantity, as well as any inbound quantities that have already been shipped or received.

If you need to customize the desired weeks of cover, the inbound shipping time, if the item is restockable, and anticipated growth navigate to the Marketplaces > Amazon > Amazon Settings page.  Here you can configure your Suggested Inbound Quantity settigns to reflect how much stock you want to maintain.   • Desired Weeks of Cover: 8
  • Inbound Shipping Time: 0
  • Anticipated Growth: none
  • Restockable: True

The longer a product has sold as FBA, the better our information will be to determine inbound quantity recommendations. When available, we will use year over year sales data to account for seasonality and business growth trends in our calculations.

Please note: An item must be in FBA for at least 30 days to calculate what quantity you should send for FBA.

 

Seller-Fulfilled Products

This view gives detailed information on your seller-fulfilled inventory items to give you more insight into which products would be good candidates to source for FBA. Information on sales rank, category, lowest price on the listing, cost, and more can all factor in if you would like to send products to FBA. This grid allows you to combine all of that data across your seller fulfilled inventory. For products that you determine are good candidates for FBA, you can add these directly to an Inbound Shipping Plan from this page by selecting the items and clicking on Start Inbound Shipping Plan.

TitleThe inventory title.
ASINThe ASIN your item is currently listed to on Amazon.  This data comes directly from Amazon and your product must be listed on Amazon for us to return data in this field. 
Qty TotalTotal quantity in ChannelAdvisor for all seller managed and FBA Distribution Centers combined assigned to Amazon.
Qty Avail Seller FulfillledTotal quantity in ChannelAdvisor for all seller managed Distribution Centers assigned to Amazon.  For example, if you have 100 quantity for a product divided across 4 distribution centers (25 in each DC), but only 3 distribution centers are assigned to Amazon, your Qty Avail Seller Fulfilled will be 75. 
Seller Fulfilled Qty Weeks of CoverBased on your sales in the last 30 days, the estimated weeks of coverage of seller fulfilled quantity you have available.
FBA Qty AvailPurchasable FBA items on Amazon.
FBA Qty Weeks of CoverBased on your sales in the last 30 days, the estimated weeks of coverage of purchasable items you have in FBA.
Suggested Inbound Quantity The suggested product quantity to replenish for Fulfillment by Amazon. This estimate is based on recent sales, year over year sales and growth (if available), and any settings you have applied in the FBA Suggested Inbound Quantity settings. 
FBA Qty FulfillableThe number of units you have for a SKU in Amazon fulfillment centers that can be picked, packed, and shipped.
FBA Qty FC TransferThe number of items that are being transferred between Amazon distribution centers.
FBA Qty Inbound: CreatedThe quantity that is associated with an inbound shipment plan that hasn't yet shipped.
FBA Qty Inbound: ShippedThe quantity that has been shipped to an Amazon distribution center with an inbound shipment plan.
FBA Qty Inbound: ReceivedThe number of items that are in receiving at an Amazon distribution center.
FBA Qty Reserved: FC ProcessingThe number of units that have been sidelined at the fulfillment center for additional processing.
FBA Qty Reserved: Customer OrderThe number of units reserved for customer orders.
FBA Qty UnsellableProducts are marked as Unsellable by Amazon when the condition does not match the condition assigned to the live listing, typically as a result of damage.
FBA Qty ExcessProducts in FBA with greater than desired days of supply as indicated in Seller Central.
FBA Qty StrandedStranded inventory is inventory in an FBA fulfillment center that does not have an active offer on Amazon.
Your Total PriceThe total price (price + shipping) you are charging on Amazon as of the last price event notification.
Seller CostThe cost for your item pulled from the Seller Cost field in inventory.
Estimated FBA FeesEstimated fulfillment fees for items that are currently in FBA. These fees are an estimate from Amazon based on the dimensions of the items. Once an item is in an FBA warehouse, it can take up to 24 hours for us to receive the FBA fee estimate from Amazon.
Estimated Referral FeesEstimated referral fees based upon the category, product type and price specified in the Amazon template.
