Monitoring the Repricer Performance

To determine the performance and effectiveness of how the Repricer is adjusting your product prices ChannelAdvisor provides different tools. The Optimization Dashboard is the most comprehensive feature. It makes it easy to understand how the Repricer impacts your bottom line and your ability to win the Buy Box, view what errors may be preventing your products from repricing, and see an overview of the actions taken. Additionally, the Repricer Activity and the Competition Watch views will support your monitoring efforts.

 

Optimization Dashboard


Begin by navigating to Marketplaces > Amazon > Optimization > Optimization Dashboard. This page will show you a high-level overview of your Amazon Repricer performance. Various widgets will display different performance aspects. If you do not currently have the Repricer configured for your account the widgets on this page will have example data to give an idea of what type of information you would be able to see in each chart. These widgets are updated daily.

 

Amazon Repricer Sales Performance

Use this graph to view your sales performance and how that varies per Repricer rule, or even compare the performance of products on the Repricer to those that are not. This widget includes:

  • Gross Profit: Total GMV - Total Seller Cost (This is calculated for all products that have a seller cost defined)
  • GMV: Gross Merchandise Value
  • Live SKU Count: All live, in stock products at a specific point in time

The drop down at the top of the widget allows you to select items On Repricer, Not on Repricer or individual repricer rules you have configured in your account. To compare performance side by side, add another instance of this widget.

 

Amazon Buy Box Attainment

Use this graph to view your Buy Box attainment per repricer rule along with the average potential gross margin of the products assigned to a rule. To compare Buy Box attainment side by side, add another instance of this widget. The average potential gross margin is calculated for all products on a rule that has a seller cost defined.  

 

Amazon Repricing Listing Status

Use this chart to view the errors and warnings related to repricing your products. Click on the Message Count to view additional details on the message in the Product Status view.

 

Amazon Repricer Activity

Use this chart to see a roll-up of the price changes and evaluations made by the Repricer. 

 

Repricer Activity View


The Repricer Activity view gets more granular and provides details on repricing activity for different SKUs, specifically:

  • the time the Repricer has reviewed the SKU
  • the SKU that has been reviewed
  • if the price was increased, decreased or not changed
  • which rule was applied
  • the old price
  • the new price
  • the amount the price was changed by

To access this view, navigate to Marketplaces > Amazon > Optimization > Repricer Activity.

 

Competition Watch View


The Competition Watch screen (Marketplaces > Amazon > Optimization > Competition Watch) allows you to see competition data for SKUs that have been processed via the Repricer. You can view detailed pricing and rating information about other merchants that are selling the same items as you. Competition activity is updated as we get price change notifications for your items and reflects the most current set of competition on your listings.
