My Account

The My Account section is the home to several key features of ChannelAdvisor. You can create new users and regulate their access levels using the User Permissions section. View, update, and correct problems using the Message Center. Also, customize your company information, settings, advanced filters, tracking pixel and archive settings in the Account Settings section.

Messages


Within the My Account > Messages view you will be able to do the following:

  • Message Center
    You will be able to view all of the messages related to your account so you can easily view and correct issues that may arise. The types of messages displayed include errors, warnings, system information. The messages also contain actionable items, where you may quickly and easily decipher the problem and correct the issue.
  • Setup Notifications
    This view provides you the ability to configure and receive daily roll-ups of all your messages for each of your accounts. You may specify the distribution group for each account as well as the time you would like the summary email delivered to that group.
  • Distribution Groups
    This view provides a means to reuse predefined email lists throughout the system. You can easily create, edit and delete reusable distribution groups as well as add and delete desired email addresses from them.

 

Permissions


Assigning User Access is an important aspect of ChannelAdvisor Complete. Each person required to work within Complete should have their own login. This increases the security of your account by assigning access according to the tasks each person performs. You will also able to control and restrict access for each of these users to various sections inside the application, permitting them to view only the critical information to perform their daily tasks. Have an employee that has left the company? Easily disable that user, and your sensitive information is safe and secure. Account permissions can be configured for groups, users as well as contacts.

Within the My Account > Permissions view you will be able to do the following:

  • Manage Groups
    Groups are the cornerstone for granting and managing access privileges throughout the Complete application.
  • Manage Users
    Increase account security by creating unique logins for each individual user.
  • Advanced Filters
    Create and manage your advanced filters to easily search throughout the permissions section. Creating, Editing and Deleting Advanced Filters in this section is identical to creating Advanced Filters in My Account > Account Settings > Advanced Filter view.
  • Modules
    What are they and what do they do? Learn about each module and what privileges you are granting to your users.

 

Account Settings


Locate, setup and customize specific information and settings related to your account. Update your company information, create and customize powerful advanced filters, retrieve your tracking pixel information, and customize your archive settings. Once established, the majority of the information and settings in this section will not require updates, however you will be able to quickly and easily reference the information in this section.

Within the My Account > Account Settings view you will be able to do the following:

  • Company Setup 
    This view will allow you get started more quickly in the application, the Company Setup Guide will help you confirm and/or edit your company information as well as create users for all of your personnel.
  • Advanced Filter
    Advanced Filters allows you to create complex queries to identify and isolate specific subsets of data from your account information. These filters can be designed to look at specific fields of information and include or exclude results based on parameters that you specify. Here, you'll quickly learn exactly what Advanced Filters are, what they are used for, and how to create and manage them.
  • Transaction Filters
  • Tracking Pixel
    The ChannelAdvisor product provides ROI reporting of online search and comparison shopping engine campaigns. Reporting is available at the channel level (Paid search, Natural search, and Comparison Shopping Engines), campaign level, category level, keyword level and by SKU. To obtain traffic and order data, two tracking pixels must be installed on your site.
  • Archive Settings
    On this view, you can specify the period of inactivity required to automatically archive inventory and ads.
