Message Notifications

The Message Notifications view provides you the ability to configure and receive daily roll-ups of all your messages for each of your accounts. You may specify the distribution group for each account as well as the time you would like the summary email delivered to that group.

Note: If you do not have have any distribution groups, you must create one first before you are able to setup your message notifications. For more information regarding the creation of distribution groups, plese see Distribution Groups .

Getting Started with Message Notifications


After you have configured your distribution groups you can get started with configuring your message notifications. Begin by navigating to the My Account > Messages Set Up Notifications view. Within this view you will be able to accomplish the following tasks:

Note: Multi-Account users will be able to manage the message notifications for all of your accounts from this single view. There is no need to switch accounts when configuring your notifications.

 

Configure a Message Notification

To configure a message notification, complete the following steps:

  • Locate your desired account in the Account Name column and click the Configure link in the Actions column.
  • Select the time of day you would like the distribution group to receive this email. Note: This time reflects the local time zone for that specific account.
  • Select the distribution group that will receive the message notification.
  • (Optional) Select to send notifications only if account has a new message by checking the box.
  • Click the Save button.
  • You will receive a confirmation message and your account will automatically be activated.

 

Activate/Deactivate Message Notifications

You may activate message notifications for a desired account ONLY if the account has been previously configured. Accounts that have not been configured and accounts that were using a distribution group that was deleted must first be configured following the steps above for "Configure a Message Notification".

To activate/deactivate a message notification, complete the following steps:

  • Locate your desired account in the Account Name column and click the Activate/Deactivate link in the Actions column.
  • For bulk activation/deactivation:
    • Click the checkbox for each of your desired accounts and click the  Activate/Deactivate button in the toolbar at the top of the grid.
    • If you have selected accounts that have been configured and others that have not been configured, only the configured accounts will be activated/deactivated.
  • You will receive a confirmation message and the status of your account will change in the Status column.
