Keyword Error Message Help

When creating keywords for your paid search campaigns via ChannelAdvisor, we perform several real time checks which may result in error messages.

Tasks to Complete


 

If you are receiving an error message and cannot determine why you are not able to create the indicated keyword, please check the following.

  1. Does the domain you are using in your keyword's landing page match a domain specified in your account settings? Have you entered the http://www. prior to your landing page URL if the www. is included in your account settings? (URLs entered must start with http:// or https://)
  2. Does the Campaign you are adding to exist? Keywords can only be added to existing Campaigns in an "active" or "paused" state.
  3. Does the AdGroup you are adding to exist? Keywords can only be added to existing Ad Groups in an "active" state or "paused" state.
  4. Have you included all required information such as Campaign, Ad Group and Landing Page?
  5. Does the keyword already exist in the same campaign with the same match type?
  6. Is there a misspelling or typo in any of the required fields?
