Removing Classifications

In order to remove an inventory item from a group of products, you will need to remove the associated classification from that item. This can be done via the user interface or in bulk via spreadsheet.

Removing a classification from your inventory is the third step in the process of understanding how ChannelAdvisor uses classifications.

 

Prerequisites


You should be familiar with the following topics before continuing:

 

How to Remove Classifications from Inventory via the User Interface


Complete the following steps related to this task:

  1. Navigate to your Inventory > Products > All Products view.
  2. Select inventory items that you would like to remove classifications from.
  3. Click the More button on the inventory toolbar and then Edit Class in the expanded list.
  4. Select No Classification.
  5. Click Save and Exit.

Note: Removing a classification will remove the data from any attributes specific to that classification.
