The Impressions by Device widget helps you analyze device usage of your consumer compared to other advertisers in a specific category.

Impressions by Device is a way to benchmark the measure site traffic broken down by device.

 

About Competing Advertisers

Competing Advertisers represents the aggregate distribution of advertisers advertising in overlapping categories with you across the selected marketplaces. If there is insufficient data to create a competitive benchmark group then no data is shown.

 

How to use the Impressions by Device Widget


  1. Select a date range using the date selector in the upper right-hand corner. A typical one to start with would be Trailing Year which is the last 12 months. Use the date selector to remove any months that you don’t want included (for example if you were not advertising during a given month you can exclude from the chart to not skew the results).
     
  2. Select one or more ChannelAdvisor accounts to include. Limiting to one account can help isolate the performance of a specific account or geography while including all your accounts can help see an overall view of performance.
     
  3. Choose the device types that you would like to see data for: All devices (black), desktop (blue), tablet (orange), mobile (purple).
     
  4. Evaluate the results. How do your Impressions by Device compare to competing advertisers? If your Impressions by Device is significantly lower than competing advertisers then you may want to go back and look at your Conversion Rate by Device to see if there are some adjustments to your site that need to be made to improve mobile experience and conversions.
