Google Shopping Detail Report

With the Google Shopping Detail report, ChannelAdvisor gives you insight into the performance of three different Google product promotion vehicles: Google Shopping, Product Listing Ads, and Product Extensions. Product Listing Ads and Product Extensions are paid advertising that are configured from a Google AdWords account. There is no fee for Google Shopping listings.

How to Generate the Report:

  1. In ChannelAdvisor, navigate to Reports > Create Report.
  2. Select Comparison Shopping from the drop-down menu.
  3. Scroll through the options listed and select Google Shopping Detail.
  4. In the Report Options section, provide the following information:
    • Name
    • Date Range (you can also select to include the Start and End dates for that range in your report)
    • Which Columns you want to include
    • Whether you want the report to run now, or schedule a date in the future
    • Delivery Options: Download Only, Email or FTP. 
    • Report Format: CSV, TXT, XML or XLS.
  5. Click Create Report
    • The report will be delivered based on the Delivery Option you chose above.
    • If you chose Download Only, go to Reports > Report Activity to download your report.
 

Notes about the Google Shopping Detail Report:

  • Note that at this time, the report will only produce results for Google Shopping US .
  • If you are participating in Google's Dynamic Remarketing program, you may additionally add the following string to the cagpspn parameter, and we'll report on this program as well: {ifdyn:dyn} , so the full parameter would look like this: cagpspn={ifpla:pla}{ifdyn:dyn} . 
  • The Google Shopping Detail Report contains the data listed below:
Column NameDescription
StartDateThe first date of the date range of your report
EndDateThe last date of the date range of your report
Tracking IDThis is the unique TrackingID used in ChannelAdvisor that identifies the target used for this performance data.
TitleThe title of the product.
ProviderThe Provider of the program where the SKU is listed.
Program NameThe Provider where the SKU is listed.
Pixel HitsThe traffic to the SKU as measured by ChannelAdvisor.
OrdersThe number of orders tracked for the product.
EventsThe number of custom events tracked for the product on Google Shopping.
AssistsThe number of times the product was clicked prior to another advertisement receiving a conversion.
Conversion %Orders / Pixel Hits
RevenueThe sum of all orders' revenue associated with the product; also referred to as GMV.
Event ValueThe sum of the value of any custom events.
Average Order ValueRevenue / Orders
BrandThe manufacturer brand of the SKU
CategoryYour category of the SKU, not Google's category
