Payment Processing

There are several payment processing options available in the ChannelAdvisor Complete software. You must have a registered user account at the following vendor in order to process credit cards through the ChannelAdvisor Checkout.

Other supported forms of payment include the following:

  • Certified Checks
  • Money Orders
  • Personal Checks
  • Wire Transfer


PayPal as a Payment Processor


PayPal has quickly become a global leader in online payment solutions with more than 70 million active accounts worldwide. Available in 190 markets and 19 currencies around the world, PayPal enables global e-commerce by making payments possible across different locations, currencies, and languages.  Learn more at PayPal.com

When a buyer completes their order through the ChannelAdvisor Checkout they can choose PayPal as a payment option, just like a credit card or a check.  The buyer will complete the ChannelAdvisor Checkout, and if they select PayPal as their preferred payment option, then the shipping information will be collected in the ChannelAdvisor Checkout and at the end of Checkout the user will be sent to thePayPal site to complete their payment.  After signing into PayPal's site and paying, the buyer will be returned to the ChannelAdvisor Checkout confirmation page.

PayPal also offers their own Checkout solution, called PayPal Checkout Express.  This option can be used instead of the ChannelAdvisor Checkout to process orders.  Should you choose to use this checkout solution, the buyer will be sent directly to the secure PayPal Express Checkout site to complete their purchase.
