Managing Orders and Invoices Via Checkout ReportAfter the Checkout has been completed, you will need to ship your products to the buyer. ChannelAdvisor makes it easy to get warehouse pick lists for packaging your orders, invoices that can be included in the shipment, and downloadable reports that can help you to generate shipping labels. The information needed to package and ship your sold products can be found in a series of reports in your account, or by using the ChannelAdvisor API.
Checkout ReportsA checkout report contains all of the information collected in checkout for a buyers purchase. The Checkout Reports settings page is used to manage who checkout fulfillment reports are sent to, what orders are included on the report, and how often they are run. To view or download a Checkout Report, go to Orders/Transactions > Checkout Reports in the ChannelAdvisor application. The Checkout Report data can be retrieved in one of several ways:
A history of Checkout Reports are maintained in the application for 3 years before being archived. If you need access to report history older than 3 years, please Contact Support and request the specific report period for which you would like to retreive data. Fields Included in CSV Download (Version 2)The Checkout Report CSV download will display order information such as the Order Total, Payment Type, Billing and Shipping Addresses, Shipping Instructions and much more.
Fields Included in CSV Download (Version 3)The Version 3 CSV Checkout Report download will display the same order information as version 2, but will also include more fields such as Manufacturer, Gift Wrap Options and Cost, and line item details such as Item Shipping and Item Tax costs.
HTML Report Example The HTML Report prints out a "pick list" that can be used by your warehouse to locate and package inventory items for shipment.
HTML Invoice Example The HTML Invoice can be used to print a packing slip that can be included in your shipment to the buyer. The invoice layout can be configured using the Invoice Settings page.
Developer Network APIsThe Developer Network contains information on APIs exposed by the ChannelAdvisor platform. In particular, customers looking to automate their online business directly from their back-end systems should look at the Order Service for methods to automatically download orders from ChannelAdvisor, and mark items as shipped using the Shipping Service . For many high-volume or larger ChannelAdvisor customers, our Developer Network is the best way to integrate ChannelAdvisor's inventory system with your existing fulfillment processes.
