ChannelAdvisor Premium Webstore Settings
Completing your ChannelAdvisor settings is the 3rd step in the Premium Webstore Launch Process . These settings will establish the link between your ChannelAdvisor account and your Premium Webstore and determine the what data from your inventory in ChannelAdvisor is visible on your Webstore. Please Note: Approximately two (2) weeks before you are ready to launch your webstore, you will need to fill out a request to have your license and SSL certificate added to your webstore. At this point you should consider beginning this process. You will need to provide an estimated launch date when making this request to support. This is a required step for launch. To create your Premium Webstore, naviagate to your Webstores > Premium Webstores > Overview and click the Premium Webstore button.You will then need to complete the following tasks: - Completing Premium Webstore Settings

Completing Premium Webstore SettingsYour Premium Webstore settings in ChannelAdvisor is where you can establish communication between your ChannelAdvisor aaccount and premium webstore, determine what items in your inventory will be included in your webstore and determine the quantity available. You will need to complete the following steps to configure your Premium Webstore settings. - Begin by navigating to your Webstores > Premium Webstores > Settings view in ChannelAdvisor.
- Under Account Information complete the following steps;
- Store Name - When you first enter the Setup Guide a default name will appear for your store. Change it to whatever name you would like the store to appear as within the ChannelAdvisor application. This setting does not have any affect on the configuration of the actual storefront.
- External Store URL - Enter the address of your store that your buyers will use to access it (e.g. http://www.mystore.com). This URL is also used when sending Shopping feeds, etc.
- Internal Store URL - Enter the internal, ChannelAdvisor-supplied address for your store (e.g. http://sap000.ChannelAdvisor.com). This address is used for all communication with the store, including products, images, and orders.
- Default promotion code - When a coupon code has been applied to a Premium Webstore order, it is matched up and counted against the promotion code by the same name in ChannelAdvisor Complete. If the coupon code from the store does not match any of the promotions codes, the order will not appear in ChannelAdvisor Complete. ChannelAdvisor Best Practice is to specify a default promotion code to associate with the coupons.
- Default Shipping Method - Choose the shipping method you would like orders to default to when a match can not be found in shipping methods mapping (See next step). If a default shipping method is not chosen, then Premium Webstores orders with an unknown shipping method will fail to appear in ChannelAdvisor Complete
- Shipping Methods - You must map the shipping methods defined in your Premium Webstore to those defined in ChannelAdvisor to ensure that you have accurate shipping information on your orders. In each row, type the shipping method as it appears in the Premium Webstore in the left hand box, and choose the matching shipping method defined in ChannelAdvisor from the drop down box on the right hand side. If you need to map more shipping methods than there are rows, simply click the Add Shipping Methods link to add additional rows.

The screen that appears will have all the shipping methods that you have setup in the store currently. For more information on how to setup shipping methods in your store, please refer to the Shipping Methods page of the Strategy and Support Center. - Payment Options - Similar to other channels, you must map the payment methods defined in your Premium Webstore to those defined in ChannelAdvisor so that your orders will appear correctly. In each row, type the payment method as it appears in the Premium Webstore in the left hand box, and choose the matching payment method defined in ChannelAdvisor.
- Under Product Inventory complete the following steps:
- Inventory Label - Choose a label from the drop down box that includes the products you wish to appear on the store. If you want all of your products to appear in the store, choose the 'All Inventory' label. You may also define your own subset of inventory by creating a new label .
- Quantity - You will need to select an option for what quantity to send to your webstore and select an optional buffer quantity. You will also have the option to filter out items with 0 quantity. To learn more about the quantity settings in ChannelAdvisor view the Quantity Allocation and Buffers page.
- Under Status complete the following steps:
- Order Fulfillment - Choose to allow ChannelAdvisor to begin downloading orders, send shipping notifications and process refunds and cancellations.
- Create and Manage Product Listings - Choose to activate your product feed to Newegg by enabling this option.
Completing Premium Webstore Template Mappings
Similar to other marketplaces supported by ChannelAdvisor, you can define how you want your product data to appear on your Premium Webstore using a template. You can determine how product data is published on your Premium Store by pulling the information from available inventory fields, using static text for all products, applying business rules , or using lookup lists . You do not have to fill out all fields on the template if you are not going to use them. For additional information on templates in ChannelAdvisor visit the Mapping Templates or Premium Store Template Mapping. Below is some information on how to best map your Premium Webstore template: - Begin by navigating to your Webstores > Premium Webstores > Templates view .
- Map the applicable fields in the Product Info section
- For the Display Format XML Package field, it can either be set to use an inventory field if you are going to control this at the inventory level, or you can set this to text as the data source and enter in the XML Package name in the text box. You can also use a business rule to set it based on if the items have parent/child relationship. You can obtain the name of the XML Package that will be used for your product landing pages from your design firm.
- Map the applicable fields in the Product Categories section ( Read more about Categories )
- Categories are typically used as high-level navigation, such as what appears on your homepage.
- You will typically map these fields to custom attriubutes that you have setup within your inventory.
- For example: you may have fields for categories titles STORECATEGORY1 to STORECATEGORY5. Those are the fields that you will want to use for the mapping of this template.
- The categories will automatically be created in the store when the inventory is synchronized. You should never create categories manually in the store front.
- Map the applicable fields in the Product Departments section ( Read more about Departments )
- Departments are used as criteria for filtered navigation, allowing the consumer to apply various filters to your product set and narrow down to the products they are interested in.
- You will typically map these fields to custom attriubutes that you have setup within your inventory.
- For example: you may have fields for Department titles STOREDEPARTMENT1 to STOREDEPARTMENT5. Those are the fields that you will want to use for the mapping of this template.
- The Departments will automatically be created in the store when the inventory is synchronized. You should never create departments manually in the store front.

- These fields are used for SEO purposes.
- You will typically map these fields to custom attriubutes that you have setup within your inventory.

You should enter the information at the Parent level UNLESS the information changes at the variant level.
