Payment methods and the types of credit cards you accept are configurable in the storefront administration module. Note that these are different than the payment methods you have defined in your ChannelAdvisor account settings.

ChannelAdvisor currently supports the following payment methods for your store:
- Credit Cards (multiple gateway options)
- PayPal
- PayPal Express Checkout
- Checks
- C.O.D./Money Order
- e-Checks

Transaction Modes for Credit Card Payments
Transaction modes apply to Credit Card payments only. The following Transaction modes are supported in your store:
- Auth: Just verifies card, and places authorize on order total
- Auth Capture: Captures funds

A payment gateway is what acts on your behalf (as a store owner) to collect funds from a customer, authorize their credit card, and transfer funds into your bank account. In other words, an online credit card processing system. You must use a payment gateway to accept credit cards via an online store.
