Retailers ship packages to the U.S. address and Bongo works directly with the consumer to arrange the international shipment.As a retailer, you are free from the hassles of international shipping and your international consumers benefit from repackaging services as well as having a consolidation point for all their U.S. orders. Partnering with Bongo International is free for retailers and consumers never leave your site during checkout. Consumers pay a small fee, either one-time or subscription, for the convenience of using Bongo. How to Register with Bongo International

To use Bongo International for international shipping on your Webstore, you must register for a Bongo International Merchant Account. To create an account, click here. Once you have completed the registration process, a Bongo Representative will contact you to set up your account and to walk you through the implementation process. Once you have set up your account with a Bongo Representative, you can continue to the steps below.

How to select a Bongo Link For Your Site

After logging in to the Bongo Partner Portal (https://bongous.com/partner), complete the following steps:

1. From AppLink at the top of the page, select Intro Page on the left navigation menu. This section allows you to customize the application with your own message and logo.
2. Select Bongo Links in the left navigation menu. Here's where you can choose from multiple Buttons, Banners, and Text links that can be embedded in your shopping cart.
3. Register your U.S. address.
4. Select the link that you would like to use on your site and copy the code in the box below it (click on the code box and press Control-C to copy it). Note that this code is specific to your Webstore.

How to Add the Bongo Link to Your Site's Shipping Address Page

Login to ChannelAdvisor and go to Sales > Checkout > Messages. In the Shipping Address Page Message field, add the following:

Now, paste the code for the Bongo Link you selected between the lines labeled: "<!-- Begin Bongo Code -->" and  "<!-- End Bongo Code -->"

How to remove International Addresses From Your ChannelAdvisor Shipping Options

If you have previously handed international shipping without Bongo, you will want to remove the option for a customer to enter an international address.

1. Login to ChannelAdvisor and go to Sales > Shipping > Account Ship-To-Zones.

2. Ensure that your customers cannot enter an international address (instead they will enter their new domestic Bongo shipping address).

3. For additional instructions on setting up your Account Ship-To-Zones, consult the SSC section on Ship-To-Zones.

(Optional) How to Add the Bongo Link to Your Site's Homepage and/or Shipping FAQ

Telling international customers that you now ship internationally from your home page and Shipping FAQ’s can greatly increase international conversions.

1. Login to ChannelAdvisor and go to Stores | Design Center.

2. Depending on the design of your Webstore, decide where to place the Bongo Link either on your Homepage or Shipping FAQ. We recommend advertising your Bongo International Shipping one or both of these pages as consumers will want to know the full details of their shipping options before checkout. .

How to Test Your Site

Always test your site after making changes.  An example of what your customers will see during checkout is shown below.
