eBay has created the ability for select merchants to show their discounted prices with strikethrough notation.  In addition, other select merchants may have the ability to list their prices below Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and hide the value to the buyer. 

Both features are restricted to an approved list at eBay.  If your account is enabled by eBay to supply this information the feature can be enabled by ChannelAdvisor.

Complete the following steps related to this task:

1. Obtain eBay's approval for Strike Through Pricing/Minimum Advertised Pricing by contacting your eBay account manager
2. Upon approval, inform ChannelAdvisor by creating a case so that the feature can be enabled on your posting template
3. Once the feature is enabled in your ChannelAdvisor account the following fields will be visible in your posting templates:
• Strikethrough Price - the value mapped in this field should be the higher value that will be shown with a strikethrough.
• MAP - The Minimum Advertised Price value that the manufacturer has set as the lowest a product can be advertised for.
• Sale price - This is where you should continue to map the amount a buyer will pay for the item.
