Using the Order Details Page

The Order Details Page in ChannelAdvisor will serve as the gateway for managing each specific order in ChannelAdvisor. This page highlights the different tasks that can be completed on this page.

Tasks To Complete


The Order Details page can be accessed from either the All Sales page or the Beta All Orders View:

  • Old All Sales page – Navigate in ChannelAdvisor to Sales > Orders/Transactions > Orders, then select the View Details link for any order. Finally, select Switch to New Page from the top of the view to see the new Order Details page.
  • All Sales view – Navigate in ChannelAdvisor to Sales > Orders/Transactions > Orders. Select the Site Order ID or ChannelAdvisor Order ID for any order. Finally, if you are on the old Order Details page select Switch to New Page from the top of the view to see the new Order Details page.

Order Details

 

Customize the Order Details Page

You can customize the Order Details page to view page sections in the order you prefer for your workflow. Within left navigation select one of the three bars on the left to vertically drag and drop the page sections.

 

Order Status Bar

The Order Status Bar at the top of the page provides a quick status of your order.

 

Order Details

The Order Details section contains general details about your order. Certain fields within this area can be edited and updated by selecting the Edit icon next to a title. For example, selecting the Edit icon next to the Order Summary title will open a form on the page allowing you to edit information within that section.

Expected Ship Date / Estimated Delivery Date for Amazon Orders

We can display Amazon's “Expected Ship Date” and “Estimated Delivery Date” within the Order Details section. “Expected Ship Date” is displayed in the Estimated Ship Date field and “Estimated Delivery Date” is displayed in the Must Deliver By Date unless it is populated with Amazon's "Scheduled Delivery Date". Please create a support case with Amazon asking that they activate the “showDeliveryDateRangeInOrderReport” which will allow ChannelAdvisor to access the "Expected Ship Date" and "Expected Delivery Date" if you want to take advantage of this functionality.

 

Order History

The Order History section contains information about an order’s transactions, notes, and activity log. The Notes section offers you a few options to communicate information about your order.

  • Private Notes – Create notes that can only be viewed by people within your company.
  • Public Notes – Create notes that can be viewed by your customer.
  • Flag – Visually mark your products for your own use with a flag icon and description.

 

Shipments

The Shipments section allows you to change the shipping status of line items within your order.

  • Unshipped Order Actions
    • Ship – Ships all line items in your order
    • Create a New Shipment
    • Add to an Existing Shipment
    • Change the Distribution Center
  • Shipped Order Actions
    • Update – Updates your order shipping carrier, tracking number, and date
    • Create a New Shipment
    • Add to an Existing Shipment
    • Change the Distribution Center
    • Change to Unshipped

Order Details

 

Customize the Order Details Page

You can customize the Order Details page to view page sections in the order you prefer for your workflow. Within left navigation select one of the three bars on the left to vertically drag and drop the page sections.

 

Order Status Bar
