ShoppingAdvisor - Getting Started

ShoppingAdvisor will allow you to manage your products out to the Internet's top online shopping destinations. The key features of ShoppingAdvisor include the ability to transform your data in any way required by the shopping sites, as well as to automatically track and manage your profitability for each product in your inventory.

The following guide will provide you with all the steps needed to get up and running on ShoppingAdvisor. This proven process leverages on-line movies, tutorials, and conference calls with our Implementation team. As you're going through these steps, you are also encouraged to email our Implementation team with any questions.

Stage 1 – Client Preparation

Choose between one of the two methods for providing your initial inventory set:

  • Single Data Feed: If you plan to send a single data feed, review the ShoppingAdvisor - Data Feed Specifications . This specification document will describe, in detail, all the requirements for setting up the single data feed.

Review the Pixel Tracking installation process

Note: The SMCID, which is required for your pixel implementation, will be included in an email, along with your password.

Note: If you are going to send a data feed to GoogleBase then you must implement the Natural Search Pixel specified in the documentation. This pixel must appear on all your product pages that you send in the data feed to Google.
