How do I list a product through ChannelAdvisor that I am already selling on Rakuten.com?

If you are already selling a product on Rakuten.com that you would like to list through ChannelAdvisor, you need to use the same SKU number that you're using on Rakuten.com.

For example, if you're selling a Widget on Rakuten.com with a Reference ID / SKU of ABC123, you will need to load this SKU into ChannelAdvisor with the SKU number of ABC123.

ChannelAdvisor transparently (meaning you will not see it or be able to change it) sends the SKU number to Rakuten.com to establish a relationship between your ChannelAdvisor SKU and the Rakuten.com listing. Every time the product is updated on Rakuten.com or a sale occurs, we use the SKU number (also called Reference ID) in our communication with Rakuten.com.
