Using the Launch Assistance Service


If you have purchased the ChannelAdvisor Launch Assistance Service, please use this as a project guide.  Note that if inventory is already loaded for other channels, the inventory call will be skipped.  The time can be applied if needed to an additional call in the  launch process.

TASK  - Inventory Upload Please review this  Inventory Getting Started Guide  on adding products into ChannelAdvisorWeek 1-2 
CALL  - Inventory Questions & Marketplace SetupYour Launch Manager will review inventory questions, if you have any, and complete the Marketplace Setup Guide with you in a scheduled phone call.Week 2-3
TASK  - Sample SKUs Submitted Once some of your inventory is loaded into ChannelAdvisor, send the Launch Manager a list of 20 SKUs found within your ChannelAdvisor account. ChannelAdvisor will use the data to pre-map your  marketplace templage.  These 20 SKUs will be your test SKUs as you validate the setup of your ChannelAdvisor account.  These SKUs should contain all the information needed required by the marketplace and be representative of the additional inventory you have added or will add to ChannelAdvisor.  Week 2-3
TASK  -  Template Mapping   Your Launch Manager will pre-map your marketplace template to review with you in your next call.  They will use the data provided in your 20 sample SKUs to know which fields and types of data values you will be providing  the marketplace.  They may ask for additional product information to be added if errors indicate additional or different data points are required.  This task can be delayed if sample SKUs are not submitted.Week 3
TASK  - Launch Test SKUs     Your Launch Manager launches 10 of the 20 test SKUs to the marketplace and adjusts the template mappings as necessary. They may ask for additional product information to be added if the errors indicate additional or different data points are required.  (3-5 business days are typical for this step.)Week 3-4
CALL  - Template  Launch Review     Call is scheduled with the Launch Manager to review marketplace settings and template mappings.  The test SKUs are reviewed and errors resolved.Week 4 
TASK  - Troubleshoot Errors    Once the test SKUs above are launched, the customer completes the error resolution on them and emails for assistance where needed.Week 4 
CALL  - Post-Sales MgmtCall is scheduled with Launch Manager to review post-sale processing, error resolution and marketplace reporting.Week 5
TASK  - Complete Launch Once you have validated your template setup, continue to launch your products in batches.  Resolve errors as they arise. Week 5-7
MILESTONE  - Transition 

After your marketplace template setup has been validated and you have launched your 20 sample SKUs, you are ready to complete adding inventory.  The Launch Team will close out your project and the Customer Support team will become the point of contact for questions and error resolution moving forward.

TASK  - ChannelAdvisor Reviews Inventory The Launch Team reviews the inventory set and provides feedback on data tweaks or recommendations that we have.  The Launch Team completes the upload of the inventory data to ChannelAdvisor.  (Up to 10,000 SKUs.)Week 2
TASK - Review Inventory Upload Process Please review this Inventory Getting Started Guide on adding products into ChannelAdvisor to understand how to add products in the future.  You will review this information in your next weekly call.Week 2
CALL  - Weekly Call: InventoryWeekly call to sync on inventory upload status and how to add and edit inventory in the future.Week 3

TASK - Launch 100 Test SKUs     Your Launch Manager launches 20 test SKUs to the marketplace and adjusts the template mappings as necessary. They may ask for additional product information to be added if  errors indicate additional or different data points are required.  Week 3
CALL - Weekly Call: Marketplace Template & Launch Review     Weekly call to review  settings and template mappings.  Consent provided to launch additional inventory items during the next week.Week 4 
TASK - Launch SKUs and Troubleshoot Errors     Up to 1,000 total SKUs are launched and the marketplace template is adjusted as needed.  Inventory data may need to be tweaked based on requirements from individual marketplaces.Week 4 
CALL - Weekly Call: Launch Status & Post-Sales MgmtWeekly call to review launch status and to review post-sale processing, error resolution and marketplace reporting.Week 5
TASK - Final SKUs Launched Continue to launch any additional products above the 1,000 completed by your Launch Manager.  Resolve errors as they arise.Week 5-6
